Linda Rawlings, Principal

Principal Linda Rawlings joined the Lakeway Elementary Team in the spring of 2024.  She is a graduate of Texas Tech (B.A.), the University of Houston at Clear Lake (M.S. in School Leadership) and the University of St. Andrews in Scotland (M. of Philosophy).  Linda has led both Clear Lake High School and Westlake High School and has served in a number of positions of leadership in central administration.  She loves the "littles" and enjoys working with our outstanding staff, students, and families.  She and her husband, Pat, recently moved from Wimberley to Lakeway to join our community.

Kara Reeh, Assistant Principal 

As our family moves back home to Texas, I am ecstatic to be joining Lakeway Elementary as the Assistant Principal this fall. I began my educational career in Northwest Louisiana as an elementary school teacher and STEM Coordinator for the Department of Defense.  After earning a Master of Education degree in Educational Leadership from Northwestern State University, I was the Assistant Principal of Stockwell Place Elementary in Bossier City, LA. It is pure joy to see children learning and reaching their goals. I am grateful for the opportunity to be a part of your student’s educational journey as we strive for excellence and grow together!

Ms. Josie Sellers, Teacher On Special Assignment

I am elated and thankful to be Lakeway’s Teacher On Special Assignment, or TOSA, this year. I have been part of the Lake Travis ISD family since 2012, when my family moved here from Spring, Texas.

I received my Bachelor of Human Science from Texas Tech University, and my Masters of Education in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from University of Texas Arlington. I truly enjoy learning and building positive relationships with students and fellow educators. I strive to build a positive and collaborative school culture.

I have taught at Serene Hills Elementary, Lake Travis Middle School, and Bee Cave Middle School. Education has been my passion since my first year of teaching, and in the 2016-2017 school year, I was honored to be chosen as the “District Elementary Teacher of the Year.”

My husband and I have two children who both graduated from Lake Travis High. We love to travel and enjoy our time together. We also have a “fur baby” Black Lab, named Emmitt.

Lisa Dorsey, Administrative Assistant to the Principal

 

Lisa Dorsey is a long-time parent in the school district whose children attended our school and who was a 2nd grade teacher at one time.  Lisa has been active in volunteering for various community and school groups and in providing administrative support for businesses.
